n the forthcoming film ‘Chance pe Dance’ Shahid Kapoor-Genelia D’Souza starrer had a steamy hot lip- locking scene. It was becoming the talk of town but to everybody’s surprise the scene has been chopped off completely.
And before we come to the conclusion that it was the Censor Board, it’s Shahid himself who is playing moral police. Apparently the actor developed cold feet when he saw the scene because he was certain that the scene wouldn’t go down well with the kids who comprise a major portion of his fan base.
A source close to the development confirms that there was a kissing scene in the film along with a love-making scene. However Shahid thought that it wouldn’t be good for his image with the kids. He also felt it would put off people from coming to the cinema hall with their kids, and he did not want that to happen. So he spoke to Ken Ghosh , the director and insisted the scene be removed from the film. Apparently Ken wasn’t very keen about the idea but he later agreed with Shahid’s point of view.
Ken was happy that his film won’t get an A certificate, and will now cater to all age groups. Ken said that his film is for teenagers, for children and for families. It’s a wholesome entertainer with humour, emotional moments and lots of fun. It’s got great music and fantastic dancing — and it’s got a U certificate
