Mumbai: The dream of global cinema confluence is finally getting materialized as Anil Kapoor and Ben Stiller are coming together to jointly produce and make two movies under Anil Kapoor Productions and Red Hour Films.
Kapoor says, "I met Ben Stiller on the sets of ‘Meet The Fockers’ in LA. He had heard about Slumdog Millionaire and wanted to meet me. He invited me, and I dropped in on the sets of his film. He is very keen to produce Indian films. We discussed making two films together -- one in English and one in Hindi."
The actor continues, "He`s heard a lot about Bollywood films and is keen to be part of it. Now he`s planning a sequel to ‘Meet The Fockers’. After that gets over, we will plan something. I am touch with Ben on email."
News has it that besides meeting Ben Stiller, Anil also met some other Hollywood personalities including Chris Nolan, Brian de Palma and others. Anil adds, "I have had great meetings with studio heads, writers and directors. It has been a fantastic experience meeting such talented people."
Everything sounds pretty decent but let’s hope it gets formalized soon. This is definitely for good of all!
